Hi again Kevin! Getting deeper here I think my issue is actually different - I have a new email and need to invite that new email to my instance. But when I do that it doesn't show me the invitation, it takes me back to this login page
I'm able to invite others who have never been on the platform before.
But I can't invite myself under a different email (even using a different browser without previous cookies), because it redirects me to login vs accept invitation
In other news - it looks like we're going to be signing up for Prefect. Wanted to say thanks for all the help in getting me started - it made the difference in the end

Hi @Lone Pine Account - in order to accept your invitation on your other email, you'll need to create an account with that new email as well; once you've registered for an account with that email you'll be able to accept the invitation.

so I see "invitations" which is where I create accounts correct?

Yup that's correct - when you're inviting yourself or someone else that's where you create the invitation initially. But the person/email being invited still needs an account in order to access the system, so you'll need to log out of your current account and register for another one with the email you've invited.

the issue appears to be that when I log out of my current account, and click on the link which I receive for the new one, I get the login page rather than some kind of "accept invitation" thing
i.e. - I have no password on this new account, and yet its asking me for a password. Am I understanding correctly that what I should do is instead create the jpb account (without any invite), then when the invite comes it "attaches" to this account?

Yes, that's correct, the invitation is by email so you need to create an account with that email in order to accept the invitation

this is likely a new thread, but when I sign up for an account I get this email:
When I click on that link I get a 404

Can you try going to cloud.prefect.io directly and signing in with your new email?

So I did that, then I clicked on "Accept" for the invite
but I'm not seeing anything from the original group
I'm not connected to the original team basically

If you open the menu in the top left, are you able to select your other team?
There will be a "Switch team" button

Yes, you can rename your team from the "Account" page (you can find this on the nav bar at the top of your application)
