Prefect Community

When will secrets be available in the prefect cloud beta? Will the mechanisms be different from prefect 1.0? I'm not seeing anything in the docs that are specific to prefect 2.0. I do not have experience with prefect 1.0. I'm creating a prototype to see if our existing workflows can be ported over to prefect 2.0 when it's ready.

Hey <@U02NRLFCLCT>, this was part of the 2.0b8 release <https://orion-docs.prefect.io/ui/blocks/|here>. Blocks are the more generic form of secrets. There is a link at the end to learn how to use it in code

How do you guys envision block.save and deployments working together? Most of the time I would expect a deployment to be kept in sync with its required blocks.

I think save would happen outside of Flows so it’s not tied to deployments
