Prefect Community

Hi may I ask how to deploy Prefect Server myself? aka `prefect orion start` , mainly that this web UI doesn’t require login or other form of authentication. I can’t just deploy and allow anyone on the internet can visit that.

I am new user of Prefect, I have no idea how Prefect 1.0 works

is this feature(login &amp; sign up) on the roadmap or just Prefect Cloud exclusive?

Authentication is a Cloud feature for both 1.0 and 2.0. We’re hopeful that it will be easy for users to add authentication to 2.0 since it uses FastAPI, but we are unlikely to build it into the product. We generally recommend deploying the server in a private network as a form of access control.
