What's your actual question? are you just getting started with Prefect? We plan to have a release for Prefect 2.0 with Windows support within the next two weeks

05/31/2022, 5:41 PMWe have some VMs in our network that's running Windows Server as the OS, not Linux. We want to run Prefect Agent there but not sure what would be the best practices for that. Documentation on Agent installation seems to target specifically Linux systems.

you can use Windows Server to host both local and Docker agents for 1.0

there is something like Windows Service Manager - there is some Windows service to run daemon processes on Windows, can you ask your server admins? it works the same way as any long-running background process
