👋 Hi everyone! I’m Eric, a Senior Software Engineer focused on building scalable backend and full-stack systems, with a strong interest in distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and reliable cloud infrastructure. My background spans production Python and backend engineering, RESTful services, databases, AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and performance-oriented application development. I enjoy working on problems where scale, concurrency, fault tolerance, observability, and system reliability matter—not just getting a feature to work, but making it dependable in production. I recently discovered Prefect while exploring workflow orchestration and modern data infrastructure, and what particularly caught my attention is the intersection of orchestration, distributed execution, data movement, and intelligent automation. I’m looking forward to digging deeper into Prefect Cloud and the Prefect OSS ecosystem and learning from the engineers building it. I’ve also been increasingly using AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot across development, debugging, testing, code review, and exploration—while keeping engineering judgment and understanding at the center of the workflow.
