We could really use an additional champion in our organization for Prefect, and someone who could join the scientific software development team would be very much appreciated. We develop autonomous systems for scientific laboratories (we refer to these as "self-driving" labs) by leveraging AI and automation in tandem with scientific domain expertise. This includes foundation models for science, advanced Bayesian optimization, agentic and LLM-based workflows, asynchronous workflow execution in many-device setups, database development, high-performance computing, control and orchestration of robotic arms, liquid handlers, and characterization equipment. The position is in Toronto, Canada.
Separate from the position above, remote part-time and contract work is also a possibility.
