Do you mean a Prefect Cloud subscription? If you’re self‑hosting Prefect Server on your EC2 instance, there’s no subscription to cancel.
If you’re on Prefect Cloud, here’s how to cancel or downgrade to Free:
- Sign in to
Prefect Cloud.
- Switch to the correct organization (if you have multiple).
- Go to Organization Settings → Billing.
- Click “Manage subscription” to open the Stripe customer portal.
- In Stripe, choose Cancel plan or Downgrade to Free and confirm. Changes typically take effect at the end of your current billing period.

- You need to be an Organization Owner to access Billing.
