Hello everyone, I work on multiple client projects and am thinking of multiple uses for Prefect. I'm working toward replacing Celery with Prefect. I have a Django project and there isn't a lot of documentation (none official) about using the Django framework with Prefect. I have found some resources and will ask for help if those fail. If anyone knows of any resources I'm all eyes... I will have some questions about using prefect agents on a Django web server. Look forward to interacting with the Prefect Community! 🙂

Hi @Jarvis Stubblefield! Love hearing these stories of replacing task queues like Celery with Prefect, it's a cool pattern. Thanks for joining us!

Welcome @Jarvis Stubblefield! I'm currently using Prefect for a more traditional ETL pipeline use case, but am also very interested in the potential to use it as a Celery replacement.

Welcome to the community! It should be possible to call flows from your Django API directly or by creating a flow run from deployment via an API call. @Dustin Ngo is currently working on a cool feature that will make it easier than ever to trigger runs via API call from anywhere - follow the release notes in #announcements if you're interested. Let us know how it goes!
