Hi, just wanted to mention that

prefect server start

command does not work without the

--host

flag in docker, spent hours trying to understand what was wrong as I was following the regular documentation. I think it should be made more clear. I kept getting

connection reset

on the host browser but I was able to

curl

the dashboard within the container just fine.

hi @Ajeel Ahmed - this is due to how docker networking works – without the

--host

flag, it only listens on localhost inside the container, but i'd be happy to hear any suggestions on where you think this should be more clear!

I see, I know it’d make the quick start guide more busy but it’d be nice to let people who are running Prefect server dockerized know about this.
