Hey all - Not sure if this is the right channel, but what the heck ๐Ÿ™‚ I would love to contribute to Prefect Task library. Specifically, I want to add a task that fetches data from Dremio. Now I havenโ€™t noticed anything related to Dremio on GitHub and here on Slack, so I went and implemented a first draft of a solution on my fork of prefect. This is my very first try in contributing to open source and as you will be able to notice from the code, my programming experiences are limited. Nevertheless, I am enthusiastic to contribute ๐Ÿค“ Of course I did my best to follow the docs (Contributing). And here is my question: what should be my next step to move this forward? Should I open a PR and get feedback there or are there other steps to be taken beforehand?

Usually, with open source code, a PR is created, and the discussion about the details can continue there ๐Ÿ™‚. But I'm not one of the developers, so maybe someone else will reply better ๐Ÿ˜„.

Hey @Klemen Strojan, Weโ€™d love any contributions you can make to the Task Library! I think the best place to start is with a couple resources: this blog post on contributing to the Task Library and the Development overview in the documentation. Of course, if you already have something working - go ahead with your PR for review from our Core developers and other super users. Also feel free to reach out on this channel, #prefect-contributors, or on a GitHub PR for additional insight. Thanks in advance for any contributions! ๐Ÿ˜„

Thanks @Saulius Beinorius and @Kyle Moon-Wright, PR is on the way.
