Prefect Community

Hey folks, does anyone have guidance for dealing with agents that may go down? One idea I have is to write a daemon (or similar) that checks a config file which says "We should have X agents of label XX, Y agents of label YY, etc...". I'm not sure if there's anything more "Prefect-y" to deal with this

Hello Robert! As far as I know, there is no tool for checking the number of agents with appropriate labels yet. I'll update you if I will find more information about it.

I'm using the Monit Linux util to run a script on startup and on agent failure which starts the Prefect Agent in the backend.

Maybe something similar might be useful for you?
