we decentralized our flows and it was the best decision we have made.  Having the orchestration right next to our business logic is :100: and something we hated about airflow.  We could never do it w/ airflows because it had SO many dependencies.

all our apps are django, so in each app we have /app-name/flows/, and we seperate out environments using projects
