Is there a way to get an alert if a connection to an agent becomes inactive ?

You would need to use an <https://docs.prefect.io/orchestration/agents/overview.html#agent-automations|Agent Automation>

the agent-config-id is the one I create, right ?

I’ve  created agent with the name “aws-agents”

then trying to start an agent using

prefect agent local start -l &lt;my label&gt; --agent-config-id “aws-agent”

and I get an error
`got invalid value`

it needs a UUID type parameter
it did not like the config agent name

That’s the name, not the id. Go to the automation. Hover over the `i` to get the info, and you’ll see the id. And then plus the id in the agent command

I also tried to get the config id from the agent ID is from the Agent tab -&gt; agent -&gt; more -&gt; ID

this did not work as well

where do I find the config id ?

found it, hovering over the “i” on the automation
