Hi, is ist just me that Prefect has been extremely slow at the moment?

Can you elaborate? Do you mean something has been slow in the UI or are the API responses taking longer than usual? Do you use Prefect Cloud or Server? Was this something you experienced in a particular flow?

I use server/local agent. I use anaconda command prompt to login and start the local agent and today it took apprx 3 min just to log in and another 2 min to start the local agent. The UI seems to be running slow as well.

You could try Prefect Cloud, which has many performance optimisations which are not included in Server. We have a very generous free tier with 20,000 free task runs each month.

But in general, you shouldn’t have to start your agent anew every day, usually this is a one-off setup

My work machine turns off automatically every saturday night so local agent would need to be re-started every week….
