Something else I’ve noticed is that if you leave Chrome on a the Prefect Cloud
PROJECT
page that it eventually becomes unresponsive and I have to “Exit Page” in Chrome to bring it back to life:

This is the screen I am referring to. I don’t technically know if it is specific to this. But I have it happen at least once a day:

Hi @Evan Sutherland, was there any update to this? I have this problem multiple times a day and it makes working with Prefect quite painful.

Hey Kingsley, I’m sorry to hear that this issue is still happening to you. We made a big push towards performance improvements. I’m fairly confident that those changes have all gone out over the holiday (I will verify). So I’m certainly disappointed to hear that you’re still experiencing page lockups like this. Is there any specific information you can give about where you usually are in the app or what circumstances create this issue?

@Evan Sutherland - What I have noticed is usually I am on the project page to see recent flow runs for the project. I’ll just leave the tab open with the zillions of other tabs I have and if I come back say in an hour or two the script becomes unresponsive in Chrome. The most common time I see this is when I start in the morning and have left the tab open overnight.

Okay, thanks for the info @Kevin Mullins. I’ve documented your use case for us to revisit when we come back to performance.

Yea, happened again. I’d say I last looked at the page (project page) about 2-3 hours ago:
Don’t know if it helps (may be unrelated). The only thing I see out of sorts in Chrome developer tools is this error:
