Hi, Last year with my team we made a POC with prefect, dagster and astronomer. At the end we ended up choosing astronomer over prefect (We didn't feel prefect was mature enough for our use case). Now that prefect 3 was launched and our yearly commitment to astronomer ended we were interested in re-evaluating prefect but now I don't see any pricing in the price page. I searched on google and found out that the new price is something about 1850/month minimun. That seems like a really step price when the competition (astronomer, dagster) offers plans for a lot less. What was the thought behind the new pricing model?

tl;dr most of what folks pay an arm and a leg for we happily cover on our free tier. No joke. When you start blitzscaling or adopt a security posture is when folks start paying us. Since we’re seat based and bring your own compute we end up being cheaper since there’s not a wonky double tax on your compute. Haha this is on my mind as I’m literally onboarding a customer who had a cheap fixed bill but “task overages” made it 3x more expensive than us and their accounting department shut it down. 😂
