Prefect Team when 3.0 is released will Streaming Events not be part of the self-hosted version?

hi @Gregory Hunt Events in general (and the subscriber for streaming them) are already in the rc versions of prefect 3 and will be in the GA release as well

no. the events subscriber is for subscribing to / streaming events from your prefect server

Does the emit_event function work in self-hosted

yep! in prefect 3.x emit_event will emit an event to be captured by whichever server you’re pointing at (cloud or oss)
