I always find it interesting how data / data science products don’t consider prod/stage separation an “ante up” aspect of a SaaS service.

You can separate different deployments using <https://docs.prefect.io/concepts/work-queues/|work queue>. For example, you can have work `dev` work queue and one `prod` work queue

we do consider dev/prod separation as extremely important and that's what workspaces and profiles are for. If the pricing is not right, you can totally stay with e.g. free tier Cloud as your prod and OSS self-hosted version as dev environment; if you have more questions about pricing, you can reach out to <mailto:sales@prefect.io|sales@prefect.io>
