@Marvin How can I set my graph layout to default to Dependency grid
m
It looks like there was no direct reference to setting the default graph layout to "Dependency grid" in the Prefect documentation or Github issues. However, you can explore the Prefect UI to see if there is an option to set the default graph layout. Often, these settings are user-specific and can be found in the configuration or settings sections of the UI. For more specific and up-to-date instructions, you might want to check the official Prefect documentation or reach out to the Prefect community on their Discourse forum or Slack channel. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!

hi @datamongus it should be on the bottom right of the timeline on a given flow run page
oh sorry, "default" is the important word here. im not sure thats possible cc @Craig Harshbarger

Haha yes , default. I personally prefer the dependency grid. I'm coming from airflow and sometimes seeing the dependency grid first makes more sense for me to orient how things are "flowing" before I dive into the noisy movement of the tasks.

There isn't a way to change the default currently. Please open an issue if that's something you'd like to have. Other users might be interested in that as well!
