The links to the interface and the kubernetes flow runner appear to be broken in https://docs.prefect.io/tutorials/kubernetes-flow-runner/

Hi @Florian Kühnlenz - this should help. FlowRunners in 2.0 are now infrastructure blocks called “kubernetes-job”. I think that link needs fixing - thanks for pointing that out! https://discourse.prefect.io/t/prefect-1-0-prefect-2-0-kubernetes-run-config-to-kubernetesjob-infrastructure-block/1229

I think it is a little confusing that there are 4 places right now where I might find essential information: • docs • slack • discourse • git

Hi Florian. I hear you. There are a number of locations to look, but each tool serve a different purpose for users: • The docs are the place to find explanations of concepts, tutorials, and API reference. • Discourse has recipes for how to do common operations that cover lots of use cases. The community can contribute! • Slack is where community members and Prefect employees respond to questions from the community. • GitHub is where issues, pull requests, and source code can be found.

@Christopher Boyd/@Jeff Hale just FYI the docker flow runner tutorials are still available: https://docs.prefect.io/tutorials/_docker-flow-runner/ (they don’t show up in any of the tutorial links but still show up in search)

It’s nice to see search doing its job after I unhooked them and changed the names. 🤦 Thanks for the heads up. I’ll remove altogether until we get them rewritten.

PS I know the tutorials for Docker and K8s are popular, but they needed a significant rewrite. I think the pieces are in place that we can tackle those revisions very soon. Thanks for your patience.

Definitely looking forward to the docker tutorial!

This took a while, but we finally updated the Docker tutorial with the latest deployment workflow. https://docs.prefect.io/tutorials/docker/ There’s also an updated deployments tutorial and brand new storage and infrastructure tutorial. These pieces all work together, so it’s a good idea to start with the new deployments tutorial and work through > storage and infra > Docker since the three tutorials build on each other from simple deployment to running the flow in a Docker container. Note that these tutorials do not run the agent in a Docker container. That tutorial is on the roadmap.
