The flow enters the

Late

state when its scheduled start time has passed, but it has not yet started. This state falls under the

SCHEDULED

type, and it is not a terminal state, meaning the flow can transition out of the

Late

if you're running a server yourself, you can set

PREFECT_API_SERVICES_LATE_RUNS_LOOP_SECONDS

by default its 5 seconds
