Is there any way to completely disable this stupid feature and not have it display these notes?

Ah yeah it's probably about time to get rid of that. We originally had it because all existing users had it disabled by default. New accounts it's enabled by default. Wanted folks to have a chance to know about it. Lots of folks have called it out as super useful if you haven't tried it!
