Can Prefect2 work with Github Storage for the tasks like Prefect1? We've been struggling getting it working - has anyone managed to do this, or should we just abandon it as storage?

Do you mean GitHub as flow storage? You can certainly do that. I think the simplest way to do that is to use projects: https://docs.prefect.io/latest/tutorial/projects/
