Prefect Community

Currently I’m using prefect==2.7.4 and I plan to migrate to the latest version (2.8.4).
Is it ok to first migrate the prefect server and later on the agent? Or do you strongly recommend always migrating both together?
E.g. I’ll might have my system running like this for a while: agents==2.7.4, server==2.8.4.

I’d always recommend upgrading the server first

Generally it’s best to have the same version, but we do test regularly for compatibility of old clients with new servers.
