Hy everyone! Initiating myself in the world of Prefect. Unfortunately for most of my scenarios I will not be able to take advantage of the Cloud offer so I was having a test with Prefect Server and came up with a few questions. Prefect Server does not seem to have a way to authenticate users which means everyone with access can do pretty much everything. Is this correct? If so, how is this usually implemented considering that we may need different users/teams managing different projects etc. How would this be segregated? Thank you!

Hi all -- I have a prefect flow with 3 sequential tasks (A -> B -> C). If one of my tasks fails, is there a way to restart the flow from the failed task in the UI? For example, if task B fails, is there a way to restart the flow from B, so that it progresses to C? Rather than restarting from A?

More of a comment than a question -- noticed when setting up a Worker notification for unhealthy states through the Cloud UI (Automations tab) that work queues are shown without the corresponding workpool. Could rename the queues, but may be beneficial to others to include workpool name or id here? Thanks!

Heya! Is there a best practice dealing with failed flows showing in dashboard.. _*Story*_: As a data engineer, I'd like to remove the red (think "alert") flows from the Dashboard and Flow Runs overview, while not loosing the flow. Perhaps some sort of "mark as solved" could be a way?

Hi folks, I can’t seem to login to the Prefect Cloud UI today. I login, get redirected to the workspaces page which is empty, refresh and have to login again. Intermittently it will just fire me to a 404. I’ve observed it on Brave and Safari. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello! I've tried to put my UI server on http://localhost:myport/prefect. And I receive a blank screen with 404 /assets error in the console, because the basepath don't change in the UI to /prefect/assets. I've tried some combinations set PREFECT_API_URL and PREFECT_UI_URL and haven't worked. Do someone knows how to solve that?

I ran into a bug in ui (in cloud and onprem versions) - when I am trying to run deployments from ui - JsonView of parameters somehow completely ignore default values of nested parameters (the Custom view works well). Since then the contents of JsonView is used to run flows - it leads to incorrect parameters in runs. Attaching screencast and code to create deployment.

Hi there. I upgraded our Prefect server from 2.6.7 to 2.11.3 today. Everything seems working fine. But the url is wrong in the Slack Notification message when the flow run fails. We have the right url for the 2.6.7 server. We have our server deployed using the latest version of Helm chart.

We also have problems with the logs in the UI. We use Prefect-Databricks which exposes a flow called “runs and submit”. This flow invoke a flow “wait result” with timeout in loop. On the UI, the job ID of the databricks job is not visible in the upper level job, and you need to click several times before you find it

Hey team, we're trying to use the latest Prefect for flows with a large number of tasks and the flow run diagram does not work great for that use case - the axes are weirdly mis-scaled. I can either see a just a single-pixel line with a reasonable timescale, or I zoom in and see the tasks but at that point the timescale is 1 second for the width of my screen. Am I doing something wrong here? Here's a video:

Greetings everyone, I hope you are doing well. About a month ago, we initiated our Organization plan (with 2 members), and we're now looking to include one more member. However, I've encountered an issue when attempting to do this via the Prefect-UI. When selecting one additional member (as displayed in the first image), the total number of members remains unchanged. To add just one member, I have to choose to add two additional members (as shown in the second image). Likewise, when removing a member, I have to select "0 additional members." This seems rather counter-intuitive, and I thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Feature request: Add filters as UI link parameters so pages with filters applied can be bookmarked / shared/ refereshed without losing the filter Currently flow runs pages has the filters added to the URL when a filter is selected. The same isnt true for

tabs. Additionally filtering deployment flow runs by

and refreshing the page resets the filter. Also collaboration is much harder , as non prefect users of the company have to fiddle around with filters when I send a link.

to filters. When I do apply filters on flow runs, I dont usually care about the filters that are successful.

Hi All, im trying to serve the prefect ui behind a reverse proxy (traefik) running in k8s, at a subpath: dev.get-clarity.io/prefect/ however i dont seem to be able to configure the ui-settings, which i see when inspecting the webpage that requests to grab ui-settings are not being forwarded to the correct prefect service. its going to

Why that so ? Am i missing something?

Hi Community, Loving more and more the latest Prefect UI changes 🙂 That said I have a small UX/design feedback: I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the line height/display on the Task logs view ? (Tasks, not flow) Everything has a huge margin/height between each log line, which makes the spacing nearly 3 times larger than it should be. (maybe another theme/css, prefect ui setting ?) For reference, I think if you print 3 lines of logs at least this problem is mitigated, because of the right side block of 3 div/lines that show

doesn't make sense either ?) Attached a screenshot that showcases this issue. I wouldn't mind this spacing in the global flow view, but when you selected a specific task and go to the log view I do feel those fields are redundant/irrelevant. (It would avoid useless scrolling when you have hundreds/thousands lines of logs printed where 33% of the screen estate is used to print them, and the rest is vertical spacing 🙂 ) Thoughts ? insights ? ideas ? Flagging that in my dashboard view when I spawn many flows at once, the bar chart of flows explodes in size and takes over the whole page. This occurred when there were a lot of flows triggered at once (I have an async parent flow that runs deployments and had ~60 go off at once).

to go back and change the account to login, but I keep getting redirected to the first email chosen. I had to manually delete the cookies from the web inspector to go back 🙂
